Let’s face it, we just don’t know what life will bring in later years and you don’t have to have a crystal ball to write a will that is effective in allowing for future events and changes. It may be that you currently don’t have children or you do but are not sure if you’ll have more. Hopefully your financial wealth will grow as life progresses and you’ll gain additional assets through purchase or inheritance.  Will Assist Ltd will ensure that your wishes, whilst not being vague or ambiguous, are not so specific that either the gift fails at probate or you need to write a new will every time you encounter a life change. The subtlety of wording can make all the difference in your will and we can advise and guide you in this respect.

There are of course certain occasions where your will has to be either updated by a “codicil” (this republishes your will for minor alterations such as a change of beneficiaries or guardians) or by re-writing a completely new will following marriage, separation or divorce. (Marriage will nullify your will unless written specifically “in contemplation” of your union to that specific person.
It is difficult to allow for every single potential future event but we can help with most of them!
